Maintenance
Proper maintenance of your HVAC equipment keeps your air conditioner running at peak levels. This in turn means your system will run less to keep your home cool, saving you money in energy bills. To properly maintain your equipment, your ductwork, filters and the system itself should be checked at least once a year. Hearth and Home Heating and Cooling offers maintenance on HVAC units, and we can also repair any damage that might exist for your unit.
Ductwork
Using our patented HEPA-AIRE(r) cleaning process, we will rid your ductwork of dust and debris that has accumulated during use. This will increase the air quality in your home and make the unit run more efficiently. We can also inspect and clean your registers, remove objects that might have fallen through the register, and replace any broken or rusty registers and replace registers which no longer fit.
Filters
You should change your filters on an annual basis. We will inspect your filters, and if necessary, replace them with new filters. This will also increase the efficiency of your HVAC unit and cut down on dust particles in your home's air.
HVAC Unit
Hearth & Home Heating and Cooling will inspect both units and make sure all the parts are working properly. We will clean the indoor unit and replace anything that is not working properly, and we will inspect, clean and repair your outdoor unit.
What You Can Do
Keep your outside unit clear of grass and plants. During the off-season, cover the unit to protect it from cold weather. Keep your indoor unit clear of objects -- do not rest things against the unit. Avoid dropping things down into your registers. Objects can make their way into your indoor unit causing damage. If your unit makes contract with water, or emits a strange odor when used, shut off the unit and call for an inspection as soon as possible.
So, save money and extend the life of your HVAC unit by letting one of Hearth & Home Heating and Cooling's trained technicians support your system. Call us at 321-426-1717 to schedule an appointment.
